Even if you're not ready to adopt a pet of your own, there are plenty of other ways to support the animals here at TAHS.  We are always in need of items to help with day-to-day care of the animals, as well as items that help with animal enrichment and behind-the-scenes activities. Below is a list of items we are currently in need of:

Basic Necessities:
Canned cat and dog food
Cat litter (non-clumping)
2 qt. stainless steel pet bowls
Dental bones & harvest chews

Animal Enrichment Items:
Small, soft dog and/or cat treats
Small dog bones
Dog toys
Kongs
Kibble Nibble Balls
Nylabones
Fresh veggies (for the pocket pets) 

Behind-the-Scenes Necessities:
Bath towels (new or gently used)
Blankets (new or gently used)
Rubbing Alcohol
Peroxide
Bleach
Distilled water
Paper Towels
Baking soda
Large plastic garbage bags (35 gallon)
Baby wipes or disinfecting wipes
New plastic spray bottles
Shredded paper (strips, not cross-cut)
Gas cards (for our cruelty officers)
81/2 x 11 copy paper
Batteries (9 volt, AA and AAA)
Ink Pens
Dry erase markers
Mr. Clean® 

Donations can be dropped off at the shelter at 1920 Indian Wood Circle, Maumee, OH 43537
Tuesday - Friday 11a.m. - 7p.m.
Saturday & Sunday 10a.m. - 6p.m.
