On your mark...Get set....GO!  Join us on Saturday, June 8 for the 3rd Annual Humane Hustle 5K Run/Walk. Four-legged runners and walkers are welcome! (All dogs must be on a non-retractable leash please.)  Presented by Dave's Running Shop, times will be available online after the race.  All proceeds benefit the animals of the Toledo Area Humane Society.

The Course:

Running enthusiasts will test their grit on the 5k off-road course that circles the heart of the Metrobarks festival.  With all of the beautiful scenery that the Swan Creek Metropark has to offer, there will be plenty of mental motivation to help guide you to the finish line.

Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome to participate with non-timed/non-competitve runners/walkers. (No retractable leashes please).  

Competitive runners/walkers will begin before non-competitive runners and walkers with dogs.

Entry Fees:
(all proceeds benefit TAHS) 

Early registration: $17 (must be postmarked or submitted online by Saturday, May 25, 2013)
After Early Registration & Day-Of: $20
Entry fees can be made payable to the Toledo Area Humane Society or TAHS

Awards:

Prizes will be awarded for the Overall and Overall Master (40+) male and female participants. Prizes will also be awarded to the top three male and female participants in each age group (sorry, no duplication of awards)

Age groups:
9 & under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-80+ 

Additional Information:

All pre-registered participants will receive a t-shirt.  A limited number of shirts will be available for those who register after May 25 and the day-of the race.  

Fruit, sports drinks, and doggie treats will be available at the finish.  Water will also be available for two-legged and four-legged participants along the course.
