Birthday Parties

Make your child's birthday party a unique experience by spending it with a furry friend at the Toledo Area Humane Society!

Birthday party packages are available for children ages 6-12 years old. Each party includes 2 hours of animal-themed fun for up to 15 children.  Your child's party will be hosted by one of our Education Coordinators in our auditorium to ensure that each birthday party is a unique and memorable experience.  Each birthday group will receive a tour of TAHS - including our open cat rooms, pocket pets, small animals, dog kennels and puppy room.

Personalize your child's party with your own decorations, food, beverages, birthday cake and paper products. You can also choose two of your favorite animal-themed games to play during your party.  Game choices include:

- Animal Plinko
- Pocket Pet Twister
- Dog Breed Bingo
- Cat Breed Bingo
- Dog Herding Game 

Your guests will also have time to visit with one of our furry friends waiting to find their forever home.  Plus, the birthday boy or girl gets the opportunity to give one of the new arrivals to TAHS a great start to a new life by naming a dog, cat, kitten, puppy or pocket pet.  Each child in your party will also receive a goodie bag with a coloring book, an animal rescue bracelet, and kid-friendly tasty treats.  

Reserving Your Birthday Party

Birthday parties are $100 for a two-hour time slot.  A $50 non-refundable deposit is required at time of reservation.  Reservations must be made at least 3 weeks in advance please.  

The birthday party room is available for rental on the third weekend of each month.  
Fridays - 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. or 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Saturdays - 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
